To further elevate the quality of medical instruction, Angkor University (A.U.) has launched a Basic Pedagogical Training Course on Competency-Based Education (CBE) specifically for our health faculty.
This training program is designed to shift the focus from "what the teacher teaches" to "what the student can do." By adopting the CBE framework, our health teachers are refining their ability to:
Define Core Competencies: Aligning classroom goals with the practical demands of hospitals and clinics.
Performance-Based Assessment: Developing tools to measure a student’s clinical skills rather than just their test-taking abilities.
Student-Centered Instruction: Creating active learning environments that simulate real-world healthcare scenarios.
By investing in the pedagogical skills of our lecturers, A.U. ensures that our nursing, midwifery, and public health graduates are not only knowledgeable but fully prepared to provide safe, effective care from their very first day on the job.
