Angkor University (AU) is ensuring its graduates are career-ready by giving them a seat at the planning table. Final-year students from the Architecture and Urbanism major recently met with H.E. Prof. (Hon.) Dr. SOK Tonh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, to kick off their high-stakes Bachelor’s theses.
The students' final projects are focused entirely on AU’s future infrastructure development. This consultation was vital for gathering executive insight into the scope, feasibility, and strategic challenges of the campus expansion.
By working on a "live" institutional development project and collaborating directly with high-ranking leadership, the students gain invaluable, real-world experience that goes far beyond textbook knowledge. This approach prepares them to tackle complex projects immediately upon graduation, giving them a significant edge in the competitive fields of architecture and urban planning. This unique thesis mentorship highlights the practical value of an AU degree.
