Angkor University (AU) is proud to announce a significant milestone in its journey toward international academic excellence and digital transformation. This key event saw AU representatives engage with officials from esteemed international partner universities, marking a vital milestone in our 2024–2027 project cycle. This strategic meeting was essential for advancing collaborative projects and reinforcing global educational ties.

The overarching objectives of this new international initiative are to elevate the quality and reach of Angkor University's programs and operations:
Strengthen International Capacity: Enhancing AU's operational capability and administrative efficiency through exposure to best global practices.
Enhance Curriculum and Research Quality: Integrating international perspectives and standards into academic programs and fostering high-impact research collaborations.
Promote Student and Staff Mobility: Creating opportunities for exchange that enrich the educational and professional experience of the AU community.
Advance Digital Transformation: Modernizing campus infrastructure and adopting cutting-edge technologies for learning and administration.
Foster Global Academic Networks: Building lasting, productive relationships with leading institutions worldwide.
Boosting Digital Capacity with Erasmus+ Support
A major outcome of this collaboration is the significant enhancement of Angkor University’s IT infrastructure, made possible through generous sponsorship. AU has received funding co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme to acquire and install crucial networking and server equipment.
This sponsorship directly supports AU's commitment to providing a state-of-the-art learning and research environment for its students and faculty.
New Server Infrastructure
The new equipment installed is designed to enhance connectivity, data management, and digital learning platforms across the university:
Dell PowerEdge Server: A robust server platform that will serve as the backbone for critical applications and services.
Cisco Managed Switch: This high-performance switch ensures secure, reliable, and efficient network connectivity across the campus.
The rapid installation of this new infrastructure highlights the university's commitment to quick action, with the purchase made on 30 July 2025 and the installation completed shortly thereafter on 08 August 2025.
