In a momentous occasion that reflects the university's growing prominence in Siem Reap, Angkor University had the distinct honor of welcoming His Royal Highness Prince Norodom Chakrapong, Supreme Privy Councilor to His Majesty the King, on an official visit to the campus.
His Royal Highness was accompanied by a prestigious royal entourage, including:
- Her Majesty Princess Norodom Bophary, Royal Ambassador to His Majesty the King's Cabinet,
- Her Majesty Princess Norodom Jenna, and
- His Majesty Prince Norodom Pongsrithy, also serving as Royal Ambassador to His Majesty the King's Cabinet,
along with other distinguished delegates.
The royal visit was met with great enthusiasm and respect by the university leadership, faculty, and students. Traditional performances and a formal welcoming ceremony were held to honor the arrival of the royal guests, showcasing Angkor University's rich cultural heritage and hospitality.
