Angkor University proudly hosted its 5th Open Day, drawing Thousands of high school students across Siem Reap province for many days of exploration, learning, and inspiration. The event provided a unique opportunity for students and teachers to discover the university’s programs, tour the campus, and engage with faculty and current students.
The Open Day featured many activities, including faculty exhibitions, career orientation sessions, interactive campus tours, and student showcases. Each faculty presented its programs in detail, allowing visitors to explore fields such as Business Administration and Tourism, Science and Technology, Agriculture, Engineering and Architecture, Public Health, Sociology and Law, and Humanities and Foreign Languages.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Hout KongYu, Rector of Angkor University, welcomed the attendees and emphasized the university’s commitment to accessible, high-quality education for the youth of Cambodia.
“Angkor University is not only a place to gain knowledge—it is a place to grow, connect, and build a future,” Mr. Hout KongYu said. “We are honored to open our doors to the next generation of students from Siem Reap and beyond.”
Students had the chance to receive one-on-one academic counseling, learn about scholarship opportunities, and attend career guidance talks led by experienced faculty members. The event also featured student-led performances, club presentations, and project displays that showcased AU’s vibrant campus life.
The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with students expressing excitement and curiosity about their future education. Many shared that the event helped them gain confidence in choosing their university path.
Angkor University’s 5th Open Day successfully strengthened its connection with the community and reaffirmed its role as a leading higher education institution in Siem Reap province.
