AU Strengthens French-Khmer Education Ties at MOEYS-Led Dialogue

The leadership and the top management of Angkor University (A.U.) participated in a significant dialogue session focused on reinforcing bilingual education in the region. The event, held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, was presided over by H.E. Dr. Sapheacha Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of MOEYS.

A.U. attended the program in its capacity as an affiliated member of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF)—a network of French-speaking higher education institutions. The gathering included leadership and staff from the Provincial Department of Education, Youth and Sport, as well as French-Khmer bilingual class teachers in Siem Reap.

The program served as a vital platform for A.U. to collaborate directly with MOEYS and primary/secondary educators, discussing strategies to enhance the quality and continuity of French-Khmer bilingual education. This participation affirms A.U.'s commitment to supporting multilingual education and promoting international academic cooperation in Cambodia.
